Boutique Law Firm Qs

Post by Pausanias » Thu Feb 04, 2010 8:29 am

I was wondering if anyone had the skinny on elite DC appellate litigation and telecoms boutique firms, such as Kellogg, Wiltshire, Farr, etc. It's a route that I've been contemplating recently (I will be a 1L at YLS this fall), but I don't know a ton about it. What's the work like in such small offices? How does one get a post there (I assume COA is mandatory)? Do they do summer employment? What are the hours like? Etc. Thanks!
