Question: Top 40% at T10. Amlaw100 or V100 chances?

I'm a 1L at a T10. Suppose by the beginning of 2010 Fall OCI that I have grades that place me in the top 40% of my class. (i.e., the median is 3.33, and my gpa is something like a 3.42)
What are my chances at a Vault 100 firm? Obviously, I'm basically locked out of the V10, and probably locked out of the V20... but what about V50?

Any idea how someone right on the top quarter mark at T10 would fare? Would it be much easier for someone in the top 25% vs. the top 40%? And do things change if we're looking at an NLJ250 firm that's not in the V100?

I mean wasn't LaTTThem V10 recently? Are people prestige whoring that much that they need to shift to a new ranking list to determine whether a job is "good" or not, or is there some actual benefit to working at a higher ranked Vault firm? If so, then is it always better to take the higher ranked one, assuming pay is equal?
ive heard that part of it has to do with exit options. its easier to switch firms, move in house, get selective gov't or PI jobs, etc when coming from a top firm. i dont know to what degree or how much someone from a v50 would be worse off than someone from v10.
