Judicial Interns- When did you hear back after interviewing?

For those 1Ls that have received offers for judicial internships this summer, how long did it take to hear back after the interview? Were most of you offered positions either on the spot or shortly thereafter? While I'm sure it varies from judge to judge, any comments would help.

My offer came by phone two hours after the interview.

Depends on the judge. One judge told me he wanted to see grades from everyone he interviewed before deciding. The other judge I interviewed with said she'd call me a week after the interview (her clerk called one week after the interview with an offer).

I received my offer in 5 days, but the 5 days spanned New Year's, so it was a pretty quick turnaround.

For another interview, I had been waiting a week with still no answer before I called and told them I had accepted the other position.

Sent snail-mail letters to two of them on Dec. 1st. One got back to me on the 18th of December via snail-mail saying he was impressed with my resume and credentials but simply didn't have any openings for the summer. Second had her career clerk e-mail me about 4 days AFTER snail-mail letter was sent. I interviewed when I was in town at the beginning of January. Her career clerk got back to me later that day with the offer.

From the sound of it, if they want you, they offer pretty quickly

I got an email after four days with an unofficial offer and a request to schedule a call so that she could officially offer me the gig.

Immediately for the first federal judge, an hour after the interview for the second fed judge (even though they told me it could be a week).

Could be its own thread I suppose, but how soon did you all hear back after applying?

One Federal Judge snail-mailed me an invitation to interview. So watch out for those.
