I am interviewing with a federal judge next week. Any advice on what to expect? What kind of questions might be asked? Any other info from people that have interviewed with a fed judge? thanks!

Adding to the other thread (which is good):
Be likable and don't try to be earthshattering. You're a one semester 1L. Baring (really) exceptional circumstances there's nothing "law" you can say that's going to be interesting or impressive to a federal judge. He knows that.
Don't pull the OCI trick of trying to talk him up on specific matters he's handled, either. Firms may or may not actually like that; I'm sure you can imagine why judges don't. Learning something about him is good but let him lead. For "do you have any questions" or "why here" start off general.
If he likes you, he may offer you the job on the spot. That's pretty common in clerk hiring. Because of that, you shouldn't interview unless you actually are willing to take the position. I don't care that it's an internship rather than a clerkship. Do NOT blow off a judge. There is no way on Earth this can help you and it may wind up pissing off your school. If you have time or splitting concerns, those should be up front where your asking about what the commitment is.
