1L Summer: Corporate work?

OK, so does anyone know if any corporate legal departments might offer summer programs for law students?
I guess more informal summer work might be the norm at such corporations, but might anyone have any more info on this?

Just finished my 1L year. Currently interning for ESPN's in house legal department. I don't know too many other people with similar type gigs.

Well how hard is it to get that type of job? Is it as difficult as getting a firm gig? Would you mind sharing school or class rank or anything?
