Booyakasha has also volunteered to plan an August mixer for us, them, and the NYU kids. She claims we won't all want to kill each other. I told her I'd be down. Peaceful imbibing works for me.

i filed my e-MPN for stafford (not sure if i'm going to do gradplus yet), and thought i was done...is there something more that i missed?

It's in the Financial Aid booklet (also on the site). It's a basic federal loan thing apparently, but I've never done it/haven't done it yet. I believe the website is http://www.mapping-your-future.org. I think you have to do this before the loans are disbursed (*think*).

And +1 to the nyc-school mixer.

Welcome Manhattanwombat! I'll be in the FT program too. The immunization form is due before registration (cause you can't register without it, or so they say). Try adding a "2" before (or after) "law" in the html. That solves the problem 9 out of 10 times.

I actually downloaded my immunization form a while back. Pretty straightforward. Needs your physician's signature.

I'll invite Fluffy, and tell her to bring the May start Cardozo kids. I also know a really sweet girl at the top of her class at NYLS. She'll most likely be transferring in to join us this year, but they don't find out until August. Also, Erikaseven took the money at Brooklyn (I could not talk her out of it), and she'd be a cool one to invite. I'm sure we know interesting people going to St. John's. I don't know any Hofstra, Pace, or Touro students, though. Do you guys?

And of course, Hoff's an honorary member of our class and should come up.

The bookstore's in the back of the main (only?) building near 59th on the first floor. It's one of those Barnes & Noble @ You University bookstores, so they sell bestsellers in addition to coursebooks and Fordham gear. It was a little on the small side but I think it went fairly far back. Maybe I was spoiled by my undergrad bookstore.

Anyway, I'm quite excited! It's my first official law school text book

Shipping would have been ~$3 for 5-20 days, which is a ridiculously large timeframe so I did expedited for a whopping $2 more.

I will let you know. I'm not too worried about quality of the book (even if its highlighted or whatever) because (a) it's a new addition and I can't imagine it was used by more than one person and (b) this class is probably as light a class as we'll see during 1L

Sentinal, grats on your new housing! My roommate and I were just approved! We sign the lease on Monday, and we'll be living in a lovely brownstone six blocks north of school. Everyone must absolutely come and get toasted with us!
