You need to send in two passport sized photos. Its for the online student facebook and your student ID card. I forget the office you need to send it to, but its not admissions.pammy1985 wrote:What pictures? I haven't been told about any pictures.

I seriously cannot wait to have my Fordham ID card. I'm going to go to every museum and movie theater that offers student discounts just so I can flash that thing.

Oh, there are probably far too many to list! Students pay half price at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and get discounts at most movie theaters outside Manhattan. We are also eligible for Amtrak discounts, and a host of other goodies. I love being a student. I expect that our years at Fordham will be some of the best of our lives.sentinal5656 wrote:LOLLL..

So besides filling out the FAFSA, what are we supposed to do for financial aid? I don't want to wait until they send me all the docs because I'm afraid it will be too late. Has anyone done their financial aid stuff yet?

Nope. Luckily I don't have to deal with all this stuff. But thanks for bumping the Fordham thread.

Isn't the Met "pay what you want"? I mean sure, they'll give you a dirty look if you only give them a $1, but they still have to give you that button clasp thingie and let you in.OperaSoprano wrote:Oh, there are probably far too many to list! MoMA's discount's the best I've seen because the place is ridiculously expensive and my company card won't get me in there anymore
Some retailers give students 10-15% discounts, fyi.

Re: Fordham Law School Class of 2012
You need to fill out Fordham's financial aid form. It's on the finaid site. They won't give you a loan quote until you fill out that form, plus it determines whether or not you're qualified for Fordham loans (as opposed to just government loans) and grants. Do it asap. If you're need-based you may get some cash. Otherwise it's slim pickings.pammy1985 wrote:So besides filling out the FAFSA, what are we supposed to do for financial aid? it says suggested price $20.00, but you can basically give a dollar and get in!!
for MoMA go friday afternoons, pretty crowded but i believe either half price or even less!

Re: Fordham Law School Class of 2012
Ah, I always give at least $10 at the Met. I'd feel seriously guilty if I didn't, though that may be about to change, given my monumental Fordham induced debt.
I do miss one FIT perk, though; free admission to the MoMA. I should have been in there every week.

Fordham has update their website, badly needed, and it looks much better. Accepted student site is looking better as well. The plans for the new law building look amazing. Anyone know when it will be ready?

Did anyone see "The Campaign for Fordham?" I just think that sounds awesome. I wish I had some money to give them. Oh, wait.ZXCVBNM wrote:Fordham has update their website, badly needed, and it looks much better. Accepted student site is looking better as well. The plans for the new law building look amazing. Well, I'll feel better about my lifetime of debt. If I had it, I'd probably give more. <3
