Engineering experience at law school

Post by ben1185 » Tue Jan 27, 2009 3:09 pm

Any Engineers/Physical Science majors out there who are already 1L's that want to share their experience so far in law school?

Anything that you wish you had known before going, or wish you had done?

You might want to try the "class of 2011" board. The class of 2012 hasn't started law school yet...

Haha, good point. I thought I clicked that one but it looks like the eye-mouse coordination was a bit off today.

It's been fine. There are a remarkable number of science/engineering people in law school.

I would just say that being an engineer doesn't really put you at any sort of disadvantage class-wise in my experience. I was worried about the whole 'books without equations' things, but then I found out it's really a good thing. 8)

Thanks for the reply. It's more or less what I thought since law school is a different experience for almost everyone from undergrad. And I am looking forward to buying text books that contain something other than complex math...
