Probably somewhere in the south but it would be fun to live somewhere else for a few years

I'd really love to be a Municipal or County Pleas Court Judge in a small town. Great hours/Master of your tiny Universe/Low COL/Make enough $ to visit NYC/CHI/SF.

I'll spend my extra time raising a family and pursuing my musical interests.

Is it ridiculous to even ask where you're applying?

DC or Chicago. I love both areas. I want to do trial work and keep rich asses out of jail. Murders, DUI and drug dealers, bring them on. I've dealt with sleaze balls for most of my working life, I might as well get rich off of them. Look at it this way, if I don't take their money the next lawyer will. Money talks and bs walks ! Moreover, if an attorney isn't a money grubber than they won't do very well. I rest my case.

Como, good choice. Miami is a great town for attorneys. Plenty of work down there.

Working in a Seattle law firm that focuses on international trade, general counsel for an NGO in the northwest, or on the bench of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Washington.

I really believe that my calling is in criminal defense. I will most like remain in Jacksonville, but Chicago, DC or Virginia would be work nicely.

I'm hoping to stay in big D (Dallas). I'm here now and can't leave b/c of geographic restriction from divorce, because of my son. Would like to go into criminal law or possibly family law. Could be that I will explore law related to people with disabilities, not sure yet but my passion is really with criminal law.

Would be cool to talk to other Dallas people on here..

Not the Northeast. Otherwise, I don't have a sincere preference.

Fofi, I am a native Texan and I would think that Dallas would be an excellent city for attorneys. I wouldn't live in Miami again for all the gold in Fort Knox. Although, it is an excellent area for attorneys, especially young attorney just starting out.

Communicate now with those who not only know what a legal education is, but can offer you worthy advice and commentary as you complete the three most educational, yet challenging years of your law related post graduate life.
