Welcome!!!
Aw man, and Schuyler isn't being offered for grad housing this year, which means that if Hughes is filled up, there aren't many campus housing options left. I hope they tell us soon!CLMoose8 wrote:that is pretty messed up. on the other hand, hasbrouck is open to the entire 4500+ grad school community and we get hughes all to ourselves, so maybe there is still a shot. or maybe i'm just rationalizingdanielfgator wrote: FWIW, I just emailed the "grad housing manager" and she said that Hasbrouck Apartments is already full. I know they probably have a different timeframe for accepting applications than Hughes, but apparently on-campus housing is pretty popular at Cornell.
it would be nice to get a decision relatively quickly so we'll know whether we can commit to apartments or not, but thats not bloody likely
hooray for more uncertainty! i was almost beginning to miss it after i finally signed the dotted line and sent in my deposit
This was actually my second choice so if hughes doesn't pan out for me then I am going to look into it. let me know if you have any info before me please.danielfgator wrote:Anybody thinks that sharing one of these could be a good idea? alone..waaaaay too expensive..
This oversight (or simply lack of communication) rests with the admissions office. The people there are SUPER friendly so I won't be too critical, but it puts a lot of law students at a disadvantage if those students were expecting on-campus housing. Consider everyone who isn't on TLS... they'll apply for housing much later!CLMoose8 wrote:

that sucks- I bet people are just waiting for the paper forms. glad we figured out how to apply online! either way though, the off campus housing seems pretty nice, I wouldn't mind living there. I guess I'll leave it up to the Cornell housing gods to decide where I live next yearCLMoose8 wrote:More correspondence with the housing people:
"These assignments will begin next week and I don't know if you will get housing there or not as there is only 23 spaces for males and I don't know where you are in the applications. Assignments are made in the order of the applications received. You should know within the next 2 weeks."
looks like they never sent out the paper forms at all...

are you paying full price panda? i'm sure a ton of students are paying sticker. last year's LSAC report says 224 out of 561 received grants...so presumably 337ish are paying full price...panda wrote:hmmmm...Other25BeforeYou wrote:+1como wrote:No, but I would havepanda wrote:so...is anyone here attending cornell at sticker price??
