To me, starting with a demand for numbers is just impolite. Especially when you don't even know the person. Just my 2 cents.

Didn't you know that people online aren't real people and as such are not entitled to common courtesies? Rookie Mistake.

It's how this works. I receive several PMs here and on LSN whenever I post an acceptance. I think you enjoy taking issue with other posters.
Anyway, to the admit and all others, congrats - the rest of us should take discussion back to the Waiting Room thread.

just sorta introductory. We'll see what his response is, however. That should have some interesting info...

I was going to write "I want a buddy

" in reference to "I would like to get in to Yale and be assigned a 1L buddy but I didn't because "I want a buddy" just looks so sad and pathetic.
Yes, even I have some dignity left after this whole process

littleboyblue, when you signed up for the asw, did you opt to stay with a current student?
I wasn't sure, so I went ahead and requested it and decided that it wouldn't be a big deal to pull out of it at the last minute if I wanted to stay at a hotel.

how many people? i guess i should get around to joining.
also, b/c of some personal stuff it may make my life a little easier if was at columbia instead of yale (i didn't get any money from columbia though). is that just crazy to pass up yale? i don't really want to get into all the personal stuff but on a scale of 1-10 of how much "better" my life could be if i went to columbia vs. yale it would probably be between 5 and 6. i can't decide - i feel like for 3 years who cares, should not really make a huge impact and yale is head and shoulders better. but then i think maybe i am just buying into the yale hype and i probably don't want be an academic so does it really matter. ginsberg transferred from harvard to columbia to be with her husband and she did fine...

Unless it's something
really compelling, you should go to Yale, imo.
That said, I'm mildly obsessed with Yale
