So I just called to ask, and she said a decision has been made and that I'd receive a snail mail in the next few days. This can't be a bad thing really, can it? I mean I applied in november and I'm not an auto-reject. WL/ Accepted? What say you guys?

I don't really want to give numbers, but according to LSAC, about a 48 percent chance of acceptance.

Last year's LSN numbers show a hodge-podge of acceptances, waitlists and rejections going out at this time. I'm not going to read too far into it.

I had my decision sent out as well. Hopefully it'll be soon seeing that I'm less than an hour's drive away

If you guys are getting your results soon, I'm guessing I will, too. Applied 11/1; complete 11/11. Hopefully next week is a good one! Good luck all!

Oh, wow! Congrats! Did you just find out about your decision being rendered? Are you a WI resident?
Had no idea about the decision. No, not a WI resident, live about 7 hrs away from Madison.

I'm thinking my residency will give me the necessary bump to get in with my 160/3.73

I went complete on 10/28, so this has been a long wait! Maybe not a great sign...

If they are still talking about you, that is always a good sign. Not as good as an acceptance letter but better than a rejection.

For those who got in: how does the acceptance letter start? Is there a big Congrats?

I received an acceptance in the mail today...it starts off "It is with great pleasure that I inform you..."

Didn't get scholarship info in it...does anyone know if that comes later?

I was waitlisted today. I'm going to withdraw on Monday. Even if accepted, I was pretty sure I wasn't going to go there, so there's no point in me staying on the WL.

man. This pisses me off. My student Post office is SOOO lazy. Wisconsin said I should receive the letter today, but my SPO doesn't deliver mail past like 11 AM. Now I have to wait till monday to find out about my WL, in which case I"m withdrawing anyway.

Anyone thought about withdrawing all sassy like after getting waitlisted. Saying something like "Sorry, I'm withdrawing...I already got accepted to a better school anyway."

Not to say Wisconsin isn't top notch, I'm just thinking generally out loud. I just realized that was a dumb question, but I'm standing by it.

Good man. I was half way joking, although my bitterness of being WL at lower ranked schools and being accepted at higher ranked schools would be slightly overwhelming (If I'm that lucky).

Well, good news it sounds like, they must have waited for the Dec LSAT score batch was in to review all the aps and make a big round of decisions. I sent a while back, but just got the complete e-mail 1/13, so not sure if I'll hear this round - anyone with that sort of complete date hear that their decision has been sent?

It's way too early for someone who went complete on 1/13 to get an answer. You'll hear in late-Feb at the earliest.

Nvoight- Where do you want to go? 3.78 is far above their median and 160 + WI residence should make you really competitive on the waitlist line. I'm really shocked you didn't get in and I was waiting to hear how you did before making this statement: I think Wisconsin is trying to boost their median LSAT to 162+ this year. In my conversation with admissions, they suggested there might be a stronger pool with more applicants due to the economy so they were waiting to see if later LSAT takers reflect this.

I'm a 161/mid 3.6 Wisconsin resident and I think I will be waitlisted, not admitted because of the change, even though last year according to LSN nearly all 3.6+, 161 or highers got in. Am I too pessimistic? I want to go quite badly.

Yeah, that's exactly what I'm thinking as well. They seem like they're trying to boost their ranking.
