they never responded? I would call, e-mail is just too easy to ignore these days...

LSN shows a few acceptances between 1/14-1/22 and then on the 23rd it looks like their first large batch of decisions go out.

Although, CLS didn't follow their previous year's patterns during ED this year - so the info I just gave you is probably completely pointless

So are they really not sending out any info about ASW, housing, etc until February? I feel like it said that in my letter, but I'm on the west coast and have to give my job *a little* warning before I run off to New York for four days! I also want to go away for the summer, so I'd like to know when I can move in

That's how it sounded in the letter.

Just promise work they won't have to deal with any more episodes of you crying in the corner - they'll probably be relieved enough to let you take any amount of time off.

Hahahaha true that :D . The file delivery people don't look at me sideways anymore, so I guess they didn't notice/don't remember the crying as much as I thought. Four days off would be nice and the crying is nothing that two or three months of summer vacation won't fix. Now if only I can convince my firm to pay me to not be here this summer...

Anyone planning to travel overseas this spring/summer? I'm hoping to bail on my job and travel in an undisclosed developing nation for 3-4 weeks in May or June, but I'm worried about missing housing/loan deadlines and e-mails after reading this (very helpful!) thread:

http://www.top-law-schools.com/forums/v ... ?f=4&t=176

Just wondering if anyone has had similar concerns...

Yeah I'm planning on visiting some friends in Europe for at least a couple weeks before CLS starts (which is apparently kind of early, right? Like in August?). I think if you make sure your mail is going to a permanent address where family or a close friend can pick up your mail you should be fine. Like on the application it had you list a date when you'd no longer be living at your current address. Hopefully my parents can either forward me the mail or just tell me if there's something I need to do.

I guess e-mail's a little more difficult to intercept though if you won't have internet access...

Thx for the link btw! Great info. I know there's some ridiculously long thread (like 200 pages) on LSD w some info but it was exhausting sifting through it all.

Any idea when the RD should go out? This week or next week, I presume?

Or the week after next. In cycles past I think the earliest has been around Jan. 23rd and the latest start has been around the 28th.

I think there were some Jan 14 acceptances last year, so there might be some this week. Then again, they were late with the ED decisions so....

E-mails for ED seemed to come out on Wednesdays and I noticed someone on LSN said that last year too. (Any EDers who heard on a different day can and should definitely correct me here if I'm wrong.)

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
Just kidding ... it's still FREE!
