There are no RAs. The Lawyers Club relies on the good faith and honesty of its residents to uphold its policies. Thus, no one really checks whether you have extra furniture, or whether your visiting friend stayed for four days instead of three. No one really cares.

Do you know of any discounts UMich Grad/Law students get in buying netbooks, laptops and computers?

I am in JiangYin City, China, and I just got back to my room. I wore my Michigan Law t-shirt I received during the Admitted Students's Weekend out, and I got a "GO BLUE!" Unbelievable...

Stupid question for 3Ls: I already forgot how long it was until we got grades from first semester. At what point in the summer should we expect to see Winter semester grades go up?

I'm not a 3L, but according to the registrar, the deadline to submit grades is 6/2. Grades should probably be up by around then.

My prediction for the order in which I'll get grades back is: Con, Crim, Torts.

Yeah. My money is on Crim. to be up first. She seems pretty on the ball. I heard a rumor that our torts prof said he deliberately avoids them as long as he possibly can because he hates grading.

I was debating on that. The reason why I figured con was because the exams are likely shorter because of the word limit and because I don't think H is teaching another class whereas BP is.

Hey, are any of you soon-to-be fall starter 1Ls paralegals? There's one at my firm who's about to start at Michigan, and I don't want to ask her if she's on here, so I'm instead trying to figure out if one of you is her.

They'll trickle in. It's possible you'll have an on-the-ball prof who will get them in way early, and you'll get that grade soon. But you may also get a grade or two after June 2. I think last summer two of my grades came after the grading deadline, by about a week or so.

No telling. Depends on how fast your profs are.

I'm only checking once a day. I can't say I don't care at all, but the lab-rat-on-crack-slapping-the-little-paddle-that-makes-the-food-come-out factor is much less this time around.

It's all written in my head, I'm just having a hard time pushing the keys on the keyboard. Hockey playoffs, video games, and getting ready for NYC are preempting my time.

It could be worse: you could have already graduated and still be writing a paper.
