Starting a Journal
Do any of you 2012 folks have experience starting a journal? If so, could we PM? I would love to pick your brain.

I was friends with a guy who started a journal at my school. We talked about it sometimes and I have an idea of what it takes...
Definitely not like starting a student org or something. You probably need to show concrete plans for private funding and make a real good case to the Dean(s).

a 13th journal at Berkeley? really? for 980 students? i can't imagine you'll be able to attract anything better than the bottom of the barrel students
