Haha - yeah me too. Its a pretty weird process. Hopefully I'm not being too naive in assuming all my money will magically appear in time for school to start.

I guess that means I was approved as a CA resident.swheat wrote:Anyone else get their fall tuition statement today? Not every day you wake up to a 15.5k bill
Woo! Brandeis! Waltham, MA, represent! (OK, but I didn't go straight to law school and I live in Cali now; I'm not sure if I count. But I've also lived in Maryland, Florida and North Carolina since graduating from college seven years ago... what are we measuring exactly? Are we talking about people from other places going to Hastings or are we talking about residency for tuition? Or are we just speaking generally out of curiosity and getting to know people?)swheat wrote:So I was looking through the facebook group just to get a sense of where my classmates are coming from. I only saw like 4 people out of 80 from non-CA undergrad schools. Anyone else coming from east coast schools?
Just speaking out of curiosity and getting to know people. Judging from the Facebook group it looks like I'll be the only person from the south at Hastings this year. Although I did move to CA a year in advance to get in-state.readereader wrote:Woo! Brandeis! Waltham, MA, represent! There's definitely a Jacksonville, Arkansas - and I was confused when I said Mississippi - I was thinking of Jackson, MS. My bad.jawsome wrote:Florida. Are there other Jacksonvilles in the South?

I tried to get in a few months ago, but because they give priority to UCSF students I was promptly placed on a waitlist. About two weeks ago I called to see where I was on the waitlist, and they told me that my chances of getting off were very slim. At this point I very much doubt you are going to have any luck (of course it doesn't hurt to try).lanvengrey wrote:Has anyone decided on UCSF Mission Bay Housing?
