How will USNWR's decision to rank part-time programs effect the chances of admission for those who apply to these programs? Will it be more difficult from now on to gain acceptance to part-time programs?

yes. GW had to sell the soul of its PT program to US News. Mason is also more difficult to get into

The effect of USNWR's ranking of part-time law school programs is likely to affect the chances of applicants to those programs since the full-time programs are likely to suffer or benefit from the part-time rankings. Law schools, such as Georgetown, are likely to raise part-time numerical admission standards to match its full-time law program.
Currently part-time programs are cash generators as most students work while attending & pay full tuition, yet law schools' part-time programs receive little public scrutiny in comparison to the full-time programs.
