Is this counting towards your section's total raise for the PILA auction? If so, that's cheating. :P

(Great idea, though!)

I'd actually consider it if it was for the next cycle, not this one

Depending on how this one goes, I might do this again next year.
Are you looking for a certain target dollar amount?

I feel my educational situation is a quite odd compared to most, and I know others in "weird" situations would appreciate the guidance, but I know personally my interest would decrease dramatically the higher the price goes. No way in hell I'm paying $1000, let alone 4k

Well then, I'd be surprised if you didn't get a bid at least. It's a pretty sweet deal for a hundred or two.

(i.e. someone buy it so he does it next year)

One thing though Y, since it's already November you might have started this a bit late to get everyone's attention

Hmm...I just know that if this was August/September 2010 I'd be all about it

I agree, though I'm sorely tempted since I haven't actually sent in any apps yet (waiting for LOR and Dec LSAT retake).
$100 isn't much, I could take a law school off my list.

I just posted a bid. This looks like a good package, although I wish it had been offered a couple months ago, when I felt completely lost. I've already done some of the things on the list, but if I get it for the price I bid it would still be worth it, I think. And besides, it's for a good cause.

YCRev, I already told you how awesome I think this is, and you are, but I just wanted to do so again.

Whoever wins this is in for a serious treat. YCR helped me when I despaired for my own cycle. He was able to show me mathematically that Fordham would probably break down and let me in, and I slept peacefully for the first time in months.

His thoughtfulness vastly exceeds expectations. If UVA has even a few others like him, all of you guys should apply there now. In any case, I encourage any and all '09 applicants to bid on consulting with YCRev. Consider this a glowing endorsement-- he's a freaking genius.

i don't think its too late. if you haven't sent your apps yet this is really worth it.

also, definitely should have been offered at the beginning of september.

I figured that might be the case. But more specifically, are you a lawyer? Have you run a law school admissions office before? I mean people may not like Anna Ivey, but she has.

With a "buy it now" of $4000, I'm hoping you have some comparable credentials.

I'm a little confused... I thought you were a 1/2L. Yor program is awesome, but I'm confused about what specific insight you can give someone past what they can already get on your lovely lsp. Do I not know something about you credentials?

WTF does being a lawyer have to do with this?

If you don't think YCrev's credentials are up to snuff, then don't bid.
