LSAC account expiration

This is a question whose answer I couldn't find on LSAC: my LSAC account is set to expire in October 2008, but if I decide to apply to law schools beginning in fall 2009 do I need to get a new account, or can I renew my current account? It may be a dumb question, but I'd hate to round up three great LORs and all my transcripts, only to have to find new ones if they're erased with my account in 2008.

I'd go straight to the source if I were you:
If you have any questions, you may contact a candidate service representative at
LSACinfo@LSAC.org or call weekdays at
215.968.1001 between 8:30 AM and 7:00 PM ET, September-March, and between 8:30 AM and 4:45 PM ET, April-August.

I know, but I got no email response (it's been over a week). I thought someone here might be of better help than the actual source.

The same thing happened with me, and no response. I have no idea what to do either.

Yeah, I had terrible luck when I tried e-mailing LSAC. No response. Then I called and got my question answered in two minutes.
