how are you guys getting these values? i only saw a spread for lsat scores in my academic report... and the spread wasn't even of scores, it was of percentiles (e.g. 20% of undergrads at my UG had 95th percentile or above...)

if you have a conversion chart, percentiles = scores, buddy.

LSAC data gives you all the data you need to make a rough graph of the distribution of scores at your school.

hahaha, i see. i didn't realize you guys were going through the trouble of estimating the median and then using a rough conversion scale (which may not be exact considering the differing scales from test to test). i thought LSAC may have just changed the format of the report to not include the avg or something since everyone mentioned lsac had revamped their website. thanks! that makes sense. no change for my undergrad from the values that people had put up.

Why go through all that work? You don't have to convert anything, your LSDAS report lists your undergraduate average LSAT score.

Edit: or are you talking about the charts?

Bellevue University-145

Only 5% scored above the 75th percentile and only 2% scored above the 85th percentile...0% scored in the 95%-99% range.

Well, fanks, mistah. I didn't done know that.

So, yes?

It's hard to tell towards what jd-mba is refering, as he didn't quote a specific post, and there's all kinds of info on page 8. The posts immediately proceeding have nothing to do with your charts and even include a UG median.

University of South Carolina- 150
Winthrop University- 147

Winthrop's is strange because 4%, out of 103, scored above 90th% and 26% scored in the 0-19th% range. The rest of the distribution is pretty normal, but really? 26% of the people got 142 or less. This just seems skewed.
