military service

Post by fisch1212 » Fri Jun 23, 2006 6:43 am

Can anyone comment on the impact of military service on law school candidacy? Does it carry anywhere near the same weight that it does for MBA programs? Are there any (top-tier) schools known to particularly value it? Thanks in advance.

Yes, many law schools value it. If your are looking for specifics, look to Law Schools in traditionally conservative states...Virginia for instance, Texas for another. I know my military service boosted my package significantly. It also helped me get into my MBA program some years back
