I have two weeks to go. This week will suck, but for my last week my bosses will be on vacation so the office will probably be pretty chill and I can just surf the web without anyone caring.

My boss gets back from vacation tomorrow.... not looking forward to it. He is insane.

Next Wednesday is my last day. And I took today off to recover from the holiday weekend, and to practice doing nothing. I think I can handle this.

I literally stay up till 2 or 3 am and then wake up 15 minutes before I have to be at work. I space out most of the day and generally day dream about LS.

I close my eyes and imagine what my mornings will be like when I'm a law student: waking up and walking downstairs to have breakfast with my parents, we talk about what's going on with our day, we gossip about the people in our smalltown, I drive my little brother to elementary school (our bookbags are sitting next to eachother by the door), drinking my coffee in the car and listening to some witty Midwestern morning talk show on the radio, waving to the parking attendant (I think his name will be Lonny).

My boss gets back from a 3 week vacation on Thursday. Also insane. On top of that, this upcoming weekend is one of our biggest event production weekends of the year, which means my office is going to fall apart by Friday.

Going to die. 18 working days left... not sure I can make it.

Funny...I close my eyes and imagine myself frantically putting on mascara/spilling coffee/studying while driving through insane traffic to get to class on time. Spending nights alone in my parents house surrounded by books...sleep deprived and out of shape. Sigh.

I have two weeks left at my job and I'm savoring every last moment. Spent last night at a rooftop bar on the Hudson, sipping free champagne and eating lobster. I can't remember why I decided to go to law school.

Apparently, I get to leave as soon as everything on my desk is done. That's about 2 minutes ago, so I'm on my way out any second now. It's odd. I'm glad to be done with the shit work, but I'm still a little sad to be leaving. They did say to check with them whenever I have free time, they might have some freelance work I can do. That would be nice.

Still on sabbatical and thinking of ways to effectively negotiate a severance package just prior to my announcement that I will be leaving ... my last day will be August 21st.
