Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
Maybe I got something different, since mine is definitely not a binder, but it's just a folder with basic info on enrollment, housing and info on ASWs. Nothing too exciting.yagrish wrote:Nothing here in Mass.

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
You get both. The folder and the binder. The binder has the same info as the Admitted Students website does (which you should have received the username/pass for in the folder).
Basically, info on visiting, enrolling, financial aid, and student organizations.

I'm in! Both the letter and the binder arrived yesterday, I was out of town so just received them today. Letter was postmarked 1/22.

No request for fall grades and still nothing. 172/4.0. Ah well, I was hoping for a Butler, but I'll settle for a rejection.

Everyone in the Boston area seems to have the same response of getting nothing.
And now we are getting snow which could slow everything down even more...

Perhaps, but for sanity's sake, let's assume he has since moved to NYC.yagrish wrote:I'm guessing this guy is from Boston: http://lawschoolnumbers.com/boston87aholmes87 wrote:Everyone in the Boston area seems to have the same response of getting nothing.

Re: Columbia Applicants Waiting Thread
A little research from LSN...
2007-2008
Total acceptances: 265
Acceptances from 1/24-2/01: 106
Weeks where there were 5 or more acceptances after the initial round: second week of Feb., third week of Feb., first week of March, and second week of March.
2008-2009
Total acceptances: 105
Acceptances from 1/22-1/27: 69
A few things to note:
-Numbers may not be exact (I was counting quickly)
-There are a number of acceptances from both years where the decision date is not listed. This may be interfering with the data
-We can expect a few more acceptances to be in this batch, as they were spread out over 8 business days last cycle (there have only been 5 business days thus far this cycle)
-There will be a number of acceptances later in the cycle (not sure how many of these will be from getting off the WL)
-Sorry if this has already been done

It actually does help me breathe a little easier, thank you, I got so freaked out when everyone started posting about receiving grade requests! I'm one of the MA residents stressing over not getting anything in the mail last week/yet this weekbooyakasha45 wrote:I was accepted w/o a fall grade request if that makes anyone less paranoid.treple wrote:No request for fall grades and still nothing. 172/4.0.
