I feel like my numbers can get me in to Columbia, but they only asked for my fall quarter grades *last week* via e-mail (which I sent to them immediately). Do you think I should be worried?

Don't be worried. I got that same email around the same time last year and I was accepted two weeks after that. However, despite my 25th percentile GPA, my first semester of senior year I had a 3.9 and was do graduate level work. I think that helped.

Like a huge package with Columbia Law on it and their little chess piece logo.

OMG!

I go to the mail box and see a large white envelope that says "Columbia Office of Admissions". In disbelief, I run back home with the envelope and open it with a pair of scissors.

Guess what it was.. a book about how awesome Columbia law is!! Ahh!!

FYI Columbia- Don't send stuff like that to applicants in the same size envelope you send acceptance letters.

Do you think they're only sending out acceptances now or they're doing waitlists and rejections also?

Thanks!

So are you leaning toward CLS now because of the $$, or still for HLS?

I wonder if only those who get scholarships get the huge package, or if every admit gets one.

Still says complete.

Can't tell if this means I had a weak application or a strong one.

Good luck, all!

Contrats!!! I'm assuming that people who went complete in late December wouldn't be hearing back now, right?

It wasn't an acceptance letter, just a book and some information about the school.

Seriously? What are you waiting for?

Now there's a charge.
