Based on picture 24 here (pg 8 ), as a white male should I even bother applying for this scholarship?

Haha that picture is rather disconcerting.
I applied and technically I'm hispanic... but Portuguese descended and white as the driven snow, so I guess I'm screwed in the interview if that is really how it works.
I haven't heard anything from them anyway. I think I applied too late... and then I also have a snag in the financial aid component (it seems ridiculous to me that the financial aid deadlines are when they are, and conflict with the other deadlines so blatantly... i guess the thing to have done was to estimate tax stuff, but sometimes that isn't very easy to do... lame)
Maybe they'll still let me into the Urban Policy Scholars...

Can anyone give some more info on this? I'm the first person in my family to attend anything beyond college, but I'm not exactly from a "poor" background more like middle class.
