Here's the man!
http://www.joejamail.net
Excellent, excellent website.
EDIT: Apparently, Jamail "represented a client who received the largest jury verdict in the history of law": $11,120,000,000.

Yeah.
'You got a big mouth... no, you do. You sonofabitch... yeah, come on, fat boy.'
< loading these phrases into my memory banks
Who is more skeezily admirable here, the Carstarphen dude (assholish 'defender' of the person giving the deposition) or Jamail?
I like the tenacious manner in which Carstarphen busts out, but Jamail's retort is extremely juicy.

Vandy/UT Austin grad. Get 'im.
sorry, the above quote should be 'You watch and see who does, big boy... don't tell another lawyer to shut up, that ain't your goddamn job, FAT BOY.'

There's something heroic in the spectacle of these crusty, hostile lawyers locked in a room with the hapless (lying?) 'research chemist.' Jamail is an ass. I like the way Carstarphen bluntly raised his objections, as it reminds me of me.

I'm still reeling from this. What a hoot. You're right, Joe. There's something very admirable about the ballsy lawyer.

This is the infamous Gidget Lewis depo mentioned in the posted comments.

Sorry. It started out entertaining, but I couldn't stomach sitting through it. Too irritating. Funny, but irritating.

"lord have mercy!"
oh god... it's hard to believe that was meant to be a real deposition

Looks like some sort of equipment stand.
You know it's real from the way she utters a phatic statement - 'Oh Lord, my head' - and is later crying. Pretty sad, actually.

Excellent post. Jamail is a legend down here in Austin, his name is also plastered on the UT practice field. I hate to say it, but stuff like that happens more often than not. I work for a lobbying firm and am in the Capitol just about everyday. Sometimes things can get so heated people just lose their cool and sometimes it's funny.

This video is great. My dads firm got the orginal video in 1990 its about 40 minutes long but well worth the vieiwing. Its 100% percent real. Some of the lines became like caddyshack among my friends who saw this. Like....The mental anxiety your causing me is unpredictable or Im gonna learn law and when i do i gonna sue you (thats in the long version) also "I know people in the CIA and im gonna tell them how you have frauded me and others". And of course the best of all " do what ever the hell you wanna do with the shit because i dont give a damn." The poor firm in Houston that had to put up with that was very professional in not losing it in hysteria when all this was going down. Also god bless Gidget in all her wisodom. (she was asked at one ponit where she was born and her response was "i dont get off into all that." She actually didnt know where she was born. Great stuff!!!

I hope that this is not one of the attorney who was involved with Gidget son death. Why would anyone be posting any type about some video that was taken illegal when she was a child. Now, since she has a wrongful death claim this bull s... lie has come to surface. This lawyer ask her why she had a name change due to welfare and check by theft out of Harris County and filing fraudlent documents who me?Yes you. Then this other attorney involved with mortage fraud for Bank of America!

Isn't a "Texas style deposition" usually conducted in a boxing ring ?
