Oops! (or how not to get into law school) comic relief

So I'm sure you've been advised to carefully review your applications for all kinds of mistakes that law school admissions coucils laugh at (grammar, spelling, etc). But today I must share with you the colossal law school admissions mistake ever!
First a little background. I live in the middle of nowhere. The only internet available for MILES is very very slow dialup. I must fight with the LSAC website on this poopy dialup. Now LSAC is not very cooperative with me--I can hardly ever download the PDF documents because my computer is so slow. It frequently times out, locks up my computer, and does all kinds of wacky things simply because my internet is TOO SLOW.
So I waited till the last minute to apply to a couple of schools, Harvard and U. Georgia. I applied online because my app wouldn't get there in time if I didn't apply online that day. So I am fighting with LSAC form to get it to upload my personal statements. I finally got it to upload. I checked the original word documents, and everything looked good.
SO, my application is complete. It asks you to view the PDF files of your document to make sure everything is correct, but my computer won't load them so I just press "OK" and move on.
Well today, after my applications were submitted, I was on my campus on broadband, and I decided to check my application. I almost pooped my pants when I saw what happened. I had my essay edited professionally, and when they do that, in Word you can use the "Track Changes" button to see the notes the editor made to you and what mistakes were changed. I did not see this on my computer because I had track changes turned off. However....it showed up on the file submitted to the schools. ALL OF THE COMMENTS the editor made to me, all of the corrections that changed, her name, her advice to me...it all showed up!
All I could do was laugh. But I really wanted to cry. So I called the school and groveled and told them that I sent the wrong personal statement (didn't tell them it was a really embarrasing one!), and UG said if I emailed a new one they'd throw that one out, and Harvard...kinda laughed at me and said they couldn't throw away the first one.
SO.....the moral of the story is: LSAC is a pain in the butt, NEVER use the track changes button on law school applications unless you will be printing them ONLY, and ALWAYS ALWAYS check the dang pdf files before you submit an application!
Now that you're laughing at me...anyone else have any embarrassing stories to tell?
