WashU law full ride + stipend VS. UMich Dean's Scholarship

Post by LAWKID305 » Wed Apr 12, 2023 1:52 pm

I was offered a full ride plus a stipend at WashU law, but I was also offered a Dean's Scholarship at UMich that would still see me take out a small amount of loans to cover the rest plus living expenses. Is there a considerable difference between these two schools that I should take UMich's offer over WashU?

Yes, there's a considerable difference. Go to Michigan. For purposes of this decision, assume you'll be at median at either school. Median at Michigan gives you more and better options than median at WashU.

I picked Mich and very little money after WashU offered me $$$ and I don't regret a minute of it. Will be graduating debt free thanks to GSI.
