Chances to T14 after signing up late for the LSAT

Post by Eve2022 » Wed Dec 21, 2022 7:41 pm

Are my chances of admission to a top 14 law school in the fall of 2023 completely ruined after I just signed up for the January LSAT? I had planned to start law school in 2023, but I'm running late. With an average score of 172+ and a GPA of 3.6, will I be able to make up for lost time?

The answer to this question depends entirely on what LSAT score you get in January. If you manage a 172 or higher and no other aspects of your application are sub-par besides your below-T14-median-but-by-no-means-bad 3.6 UGPA, then yes, you will probably get into a T14 school for fall 2023. If you don't crack 170 then probably not. But then again, anything's possible and no one can give you a definite answer on this.
