Hi everyone,
Deciding between Texas Law (tuition at 20k per year) and Northwestern (at 50k per year). Also waitlisted by several schools/no updates thus far on those. Aiming for big law, with no regional preference. Hoping for a focus on international business/arbitration, but not a requirement. Also considering JD/MBA, so the possibility for a Kellogg degree stands out.
No personal preference between my admitted schools. NU seems to offer more opportunities but not sure if it's worth the extra cost. Thankful for any insights/advice you may be able to provide!

Re: Texas vs Northwestern vs Waitlist
Go to Northwestern unless you think there's a significant chance that you'll stay in Texas after you graduate. Northwestern has better name recognition nationally and a 30K per year price difference isn't enough to off-set that, especially since you intend to do biglaw.

Are you asking a question or just seeking random responses to your current situation ?
Which law schools placed you on their wait-list ?
What are your numbers & how many times did you take the LSAT ?
What is "international business/arbitration" ? (You may need to investigate further the opportunities in biglaw for a recent law school graduate.)
