Incoming 1L at a CCN that’s not Chicago, interested in clerking, fed soc

Incoming 1L at a CCN that’s not Chicago, interested in clerking, fed soc.

Obviously nyu and CLS are not know to be heavy clerking schools.

What’s the path to get a clerkship via fed soc at Columbia/nyu? Interested in conservative judges. Park/Menashi on 2nd circuit, etc.

Do feeders like Pryor or Thupar even hire from fed soc conservatives from Columbia or NYU?

I hear my friends at Chicago/HLS get clerkships with feeder judges after 1L year or even as early as after 1st semester grades.

Is that possible at a place like my school? I hear too grades are needed (like top 5%) and fed soc in order to snag a clerkship that early.

Any other advice or suggestions.
Thanks.

Your road to clerking for Justice Thomas will be free and clear of obstacles if you just spend your con law class defending the casual use of the n-word by white people as protected free speech and then complain incessantly about being cancelled afterwards. Godspeed.
