Help, Haven’t heard back, Need feedback
I applied in 2021 year around early Dec. my application wants complete in early Jan 2022 because international transcripts take a long time apparently. A little more about me: I am nKJD, GPA:3.86, GRE applicant 161/162/5.5, tier-1 softs (Rhodes + major work/research experiences). I’ve interviewed for Harvard last month, haven’t heard anything this far. I’ve been turned down from Penn. Received a HOLD email from NYU. Haven’t heard back from Columbia, UVA, Cornell, Georgetown, or Texas. Am going crazy here since I haven’t heard many responses. Do I have a shot at the places I applied to? Do I just suck? Why haven’t I heard back? Just feeling like my anxiety is going off the walls while I wait.

Breath, it'll be okay.
1) Internationals take awhile and some schools really don't look for them.
2) GRE is still pretty new, I'd recommend taking the LSAT actually- especially if you need/want scholarship monies.
3) Your softs are fine, your application is fine. You don't suck. Just need an LSAT most likely tbh.
4) Try emailing and sending a letter of continued interest. I was on the waitlist for awhile at some schools, others I got off instantly after sending LOCI.
There's always next cycle.

Is your undergrad degree international, and does your UGPA count or is it evaluated as superior etc? GRE-only candidates are still a bit of a black box because they’re less common and I’m not certain how competitive those scores are.
In any case, there’s not much you can do but wait to hear back. Going complete in January is relatively late and isn’t that long ago. Schools are probably waiting to see how their stats shake out before deciding on someone without an LSAT score. (If your GPA is international and given a qualitative ranking, it doesn’t really count for their numbers so it makes you an unusual candidate.)
