What is the “personality” for law school/biglaw?

Title. I often see thrown around “Only go to law school/biglaw if you have the personality for it”.

I assume there is more to it than just “Type A”. What type of individual would find success in the field, or at least have it be worthwhile- relative to other options?

There's no one type. You'd do better to start with the unique demands of biglaw (discussed extensively on this forum, or you could talk to biglawyers IRL which is useful for other reasons besides) and work backwards from there.
