Saint marys, Texas Tech or South Texas law

Post by Vinny02126 » Tue Feb 22, 2022 7:11 pm

I have been accepted to all three schools and would like some opinions on which school is best, and which is worst? Also, some information on the communities they're in would be helpful as well. I have a wife and children and want them to enjoy the areas.
I'm not overly concerned with cost, because I'm using GI bill benefits and they all seem to participate in the yellow ribbon program. So costs shouldn't be much if a factor.

Thanks in advance for opinions.

Whether a school is "good" is based entirely on whether it will give you a reasonable chance at the career you want at a price you can afford. It sounds like cost won't be an issue for you, so only the first part is relevant here.

So what do you want to do with your degree? And where do you want to practice? It would also be helpful to know your current LSAT/GPA.

(Note that none of these schools really offer their graduates decent outcomes, but in a no-cost situation, they can be appropriate choices for some career goals.)

Agreed with Cav on all the above. They are fine schools, I'd say Saint Marys has a slightly stronger hold on its market compared to the others, as long as you stay in SA.

Where do you want to live/work after graduation? Houston, San Antonio, or West Texas? The schools aren't nearly as important as the specifics of the regions. Most job opportunities are going to be local from these schools.

Doubtful he is coming back. Texas Tech is the credited response.
