Does your undergraduate school matter? Forum

I went to a couple schools where I had a 4.0, before transferring to UCLA a bit later in life, where I graduated with a 3.65 (a humanities degree withan average of around 3.2 gpa and UCLA).

I don't feel like the course work was any more difficult, just that they graded harder. Do law schools care at all, or do they just care abou the rankings?

I am taking my LSAT in a couple weeks. I consistently get in the mid 170s on practice tests. So if I have a 3.65 and a 170 LSAT, do I have any chance of getting into my dream school of Ann Arbor? White male, so no URM.

Most law schools don't care about the prestige of your undergrad.
