How do I know if I'm shooting too high?

Post by splitaf » Sat Oct 09, 2021 3:54 pm

Hi TLS! I'm having a lot of trouble getting a longer, more detailed post accepted, so here's another go.

I am an extreme splitter (such that I cannot find someone equivalent on LSData - exceptional LSAT, and abysmal LSAC GPA) and non-traditional student with a semi-interesting story. I am putting together a list of schools and cannot figure out how to determine whether or not my list is realistic. I don't want to waste too much time shooting my shot at schools that would not actually consider me, and of course the admissions offices always say they'll look at my whole application no matter what.

Who can I turn to for more perspective on this? Thank you!
