Chance Me

Post by Julieeeee » Sun Sep 05, 2021 11:57 am

Hi, everyone! I am an international student who graduated from an American school with a dual degree in Accounting and Criminology. I was in an honors program and have done some research projects. I have 1+ work experience and I'm applying this cycle. I am a reverse splitter with a 4.0 GPA and 166 LSAT. What are my chances at T14 schools? Should I retake the LSAT or just push ahead with what I have now?

Outside shot at the lower T14. Same for the T20. Good chance at scholarships to the rest of the T1.
I'd retake if your goals are biglaw. You don't necessarily need a 170, but each point higher you get is a closer chance at accpetance or a scholarship.

Retake. If you could get straight As in accounting ,you can do better on the LSAT. With a 4.0 GPA and a higher LSAT, the sky is the limit. Every increased LSAT point is worth 5 digits in scholarship or increased career earnings. You're leaving money on the table by not giving yourself a chance to max out the LSAT.
