The jumps here are quite remarkable, but eerily reminiscent of those for the class of 2014 who were applying at the tail end of the great recession. Iirc, 2 of the 2020 administrations were supremely easy due to the new format (relative to the old format) and not adequately scaled to adjust for the change. I think they've fixed it some now. Couple that with increased takers and tons of high scores are out and about
