The jumps here are quite remarkable, but eerily reminiscent of those for the class of 2014 who were applying at the tail end of the great recession. Boosts in applicants always result in substantial increases in scores for successful applicants at top schools.

It will be interesting to see how it all pans out in the rankings. UVA's 0.15 increase in the 25th percentile GPA score is huge, as are Georgetown's LSAT gains. I don't know where Yale and Harvard are even finding all these folk with LSAT scores >=176.

Those LSAT jumps are crazy. Did they really make it easier?

Iirc, 2 of the 2020 administrations were supremely easy due to the new format (relative to the old format) and not adequately scaled to adjust for the change. I think they've fixed it some now. Couple that with increased takers and tons of high scores are out and about
