p/f'ing a course in my major
I know that given covid law schools are particularly understanding of p/f, but I'm worried that they'll still pay attention to which course I designate for p/f. My field is poli-sci and I'm trying to p/f a law-related course in my dept. Covering the grade now will not only save my gpa (makes like 0.02 difference or more) but also give me more time to prep for lsat. Is it worth it to p/f?

Sure. Go ahead. Law schools won’t care.

Probably won't affect law school admissions, but it would be interesting to know the name of the course and your current grade in that course.

"Western Political Philosophy." Sitting at B, probably won't be able to get anything higher than B+, but even B+ is a stretch because looking at the grade distribution A range is quite rare. And for the context my gpa right now stands at low 3.9, and this class can pull it down to 3.8 range.CanadianWolf wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 12:43 amProbably won't affect law school admissions, but it would be interesting to know the name of the course and your current grade in that course.

P/f is the easy answer here. Make the switch and don’t look back.

P/F is a reasonable course of action since you are protecting a 3.9+ GPA. While it may affect one's chances for admission to Yale Law School, it should help elsewhere since a 3.9+ is above all other law schools' median GPA.djang12345 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 11, 2021 2:10 am"Western Political Philosophy."
