Anyone want to guess my chances at the various T-14 schools? I have only taken the GRE so far.

GRE: 170 Verbal, 164 Quant
GPA: 4.0
School: I got to a top 50 school.
Not URM

Trying to figure out if I should take the LSAT before applying.

If you are currently in undergrad, you should absolutely take the LSAT. Although not every school has been explicit about this, GRE-only applicants should have advanced degrees and/or serious work experience in a non-legal field (usually STEM).

A total score of 334 (170 V & 164 Q) on the GRE is outstanding. If you are denied admission to any law school, it will not be due to your numbers (334 GRE & 4.0 uGPA).

You can get in with a 334 total Verbal+Analytical, but I still think it looks weird to have only taken the GRE if you have no reason to have done so. Schools like Berkeley and Stanford require GRE applicants to have a legitimate reason to have taken it. Unless you're a grad school applicant, it just raises the question "Why did this person not take the LSAT?"

For the record, I am a GRE applicant going to a T14. But I'm doing so out of grad school.

In an effort to establish some guidance, what was your GRE score by section & what were your results when applying to the T-14 ?

16high, 16low, 5.5

Going to a lower T14 after I ED'd at a mid level one and got deferred. If they were deferring me (without an interview), I assumed they were going to just eventually waitlist or reject me. I applied up and down the entire T14 but I can't handle this bs "holistic" review in the time of massively overinflated LSATs and the record number of apps. I took my shot with ED, got in, and I'm quite content with the results. The lack of stress and anxiety was worthwhile imo.
