Reusing rec letters

I applied for law school last year, got in, and decided not to go because of COVID.

Now I'm reapplying hopefully submitting my applications within the week.

My plan is to reuse the letters of rec that are on my LSAC account from last year.

Can I do that without impunity? Will admissions councils be OK with them being dated 2019 and saying things like "he's in my class now"? Am I supposed to check with the letter writers? Or do I have to have them update them (don't want to bug them about this all over again)?

Bump, does anyone know about reusing rec letters? Should I ask the professors first or just send last year's rec letters since they're already in LSAC without asking?

Ethically, you should ask first in case they want to rescind or modify the letter. Schools won't know, and are generally fine with the same letter unless it'd be weird not to have updates (e.g. your boss in an ongoing role).
