I am unhappy with business school and my current job. I was thinking about transferring to law school, but I would have to take the LSAT again and drop out of business school if I get into a good school. I also thought about sticking it out and going to law school after getting my MBA. Which would you advise?

What makes you think you’ll be so much happier in law school/the legal field than business school/the business world?
If you’re truly unhappy in business school, then there could be many options for you other than law school, which you sort of present as a default fallback.

You can’t “transfer” from MBA to law school. Law schools won’t accept your B school credits, and you will need to complete a first year law school curriculum.
Also, there’s a lot more variety of options you can pursue with a MBA than a law degree?

What do you not like about business school ?
What attracts you to law school ?
Are you a part-time MBA student ?
If so, do you plan to attend law school on a part-time basis ?
I ask because some MBA programs give credit for undergrad courses, while law schools do not. This means that earning a law degree could take substantially longer than earning an MBA degree (which is already at least a year shorter than law school if attending full time).
