Regret starting grad school

After graduating last spring into an absolute shitstorm of a job market, I decided to pursue a 1.5 year masters program at the same institution I graduated from. I still intended to pursue a law degree later down the line after picking up some work experience, but now that I'm in the program I realize that I hate it. Would I be better off withdrawing, retaking the lsat in November, then applying for next fall? I'm mainly worried about how law school admissions teams would view my withdrawal. Would an addendum to my application be enough to convince them that I'm a serious applicant? Are the number of people that deferred last year going to make it significantly more difficult to get admitted/get scholarships?
