Top Law Schools

A lot of the T30-T20 schools raised their medians by a point or two this year. I used to be above their 75th LSATS, but now, I'm barely above median (in some cases, I'm exactly at median).

I'm going in with a 167/3.7, and a retake is out of the question since I'm working two jobs and need to support myself. Can I expect money at these schools, or should I consider looking outside the T30?

Goals: Small-mid law firm, or maybe work in the legal department for a private business.

Merit scholarships are largely based on your numbers, but they're not quite as predictable as admissions decisions. Although the general wisdom is that you want to be solidly above both 75ths to see a full ride, there will always be exceptions to that rule.

Given your goals, it makes sense to look at T1 schools in the region you want to practice in.
