Multiple LSAT scores

Post by BLawSchoolZ » Fri Aug 21, 2020 4:20 pm

I have taken the LSAT twice: First score is a 167, and the second is a 178. Would schools like HYS or Columbia average the scores/factor in that 167, or will they primarily use the 178. Thanks!

They’ll see both, but they’ll use the 178. That’s what they report to USNWR for rankings purposes, so that’s what matters to them.

Congrats! I'm in a similar boat with ~10 pt jump from high 60s to high 70s. Are you writing an addendum? I wonder if schools will question whether we got accommodations because the jumps in our scores are so large. Would it be poor form to state frankly in an addendum that this was not the case?... they can't ask, but do you think it would make someone look like a jerk to volunteer that info?

Sorry. Just realized this was from last year. How'd your cycle work out?
