Help! My application may never get reviewed!

I'm getting concerned about the current status of my application USC Gould. My application went complete February 12th and went under review February 28th. I've read many threads that say that once in review, a decision is usually made within 4 weeks. In two weeks I will be required to submit let Loyola know whether or not I accept their offer. But I really want to attend USC. Should I consider contacting the Admissions committee at USC.

You submitted your application at the last minute, and it's probably at the back of the line for review. Even without the pandemic, this would be normal.

You can contact USC to tell them about Loyola's deadline, but you'd be better off trying to get Loyola to give you more time. USC is head and shoulders above Loyola, and I don't think they'd take a threat to accept Loyola if you didn't get an instant decision very seriously.

Also, obligatory note that by applying at the last minute you've basically guaranteed a suboptimal outcome. You won't get as much money /acceptances as with an earlier app.

Consider reapplying early next cycle.

Help! I might never hear back from USC.

I submitted an application to USC Gould on Feb 1. The application went complete on Feb 12 and the file went into review on Feb 28. I haven't heard from them and I has been over 4 weeks. Should I consider aontacting the admissions committee?

Merged this with your old topic. Try reading the responses you get before posting the same thing twice in less than a day.
