US undergrand transfer --> UK undergrad GPA

Post by spicysalmonroll » Tue Jan 07, 2020 11:02 am

If you did your undergrad for one year in the US and then transferred to a UK university, how would LSAC calculate your GPA (one is international, the other isn't?) The US GPA is higher -- would that bring up the UK GPA even though it's international?

"60 credits" is the threshold. If you completed more than 60 credits in the U.S., then that coursework (alone) will be the basis for your uGPA. If less than 60 credits, you'll get a banded assessment from LSAC ("Average" or "Above Average", most likely, if your British grades weren't so hot).
