Good evening everyone, I just joined this site and am in need of some advice. I am in later 30’s African American/ Puerto Rican mix and gay. Just starting my junior year of college and anticipate taking the lsat next June. I currently have a 3.5 gpa and rising. I recently was recently given a educational psychological exam and was diagnosed as being learning impaired in mathematics. I’ve struggled with math for my entire life so it wasn’t news. However the test also revealed that I don’t process written information as quickly as I should or compared with someone my age. One of the recommendations made as a result of these findings is that I be given more time or not be timed on standardized test. I am concerned that requesting accommodations for the LSAT will have a negative impact on getting into the schools that I intend on submitting applications. Can anyone with knowledge about this give any advice on how I should proceed. Thanks

This will not impact how your LSAT score is viewed. If you need accommodations, get them, especially because you're likely going to want to request the same accommodations for exams.
