Will doing an intership in a foreign county make my app look better

Hey everyone, I was thinking of going to internship in a law firm in Nigeria and was wondering if that was a good idea. I just wanted to make my application, and resume stand out a little more.

It's interesting, especially if you can tell a compelling story about Nigeria, but it's not the kind of thing that will make most adcomms sit up in their chair either. Especially since it's just an internship and not a real job.
Only do this if you really want to, law-school application considerations notwithstanding.

This is the general rule, OP. Live your life; don't craft your resume. Literally no one will give a shit about working with a firm in Nigeria unless it's something you actually wanted to do for reasons that weren't "I want to stand out!"
